Thirty years ago, a group of inquisitive artists and social service workers became the first fellows of the Community Arts Training Institute. In 2027, we will continue the legacy of building community through arts-based collaboration to activate positive social change with a dynamic new group of builders, artists, justice workers, and community caregivers.

As we prepare to welcome our first cohort as an independent non-profit organization, we invite you to an evening of remembering, of dreaming, and of fellowship.

“The CATs’ MEOW and the TIGERs’ ROAR!” is an alumni gathering where we will be entertained, educated, tickled, and held. CAT alums from the first and latest cohort classes, TIGER, and neighborhood-based years will take us on a trip through time as we tell a story 30-years in the making.

Join us on Monday, December 7, 2026 from 6:00p - 8:00p at The Heights Community Center at 8001 Dale Ave., Richmond Heights, MO 63117.

The event is free and is open to all CAT alums, former faculty and lab team advisors, CAT administrators, and RAC staff. Enjoy a catered meal and a memorable production featuring storytelling by CAT alums as they walk us through our shared history across time.

This event is being lovingly curated by TIGER alums Ms. Margie Hollins and Ms. Linda Nance.
